We got to see more of Avery and his family interacting, during breakfast and out on the archery range. Nothing particularly new in his storyline was revealed, which fans found frustrating. There are some posts on social media about how underutilized Ian is on this show. We are hoping for some meaty content coming up in the next few weeks!

We really enjoyed seeing Avery, Carla and Emily doing the family thing while glamping. Avery reveals he is a world-class worrier, and he’s darling as the protective, reassuring husband. We are quite intrigued by his conversation with Luke re: cryptocurrency and Paige’s use of a seed phrase. As we move forward, we find Avery handsome, silly, caring … and suspicious. We are here for all of it!

We got to see HIC as Avery being a good and supportive step-father this week. He lays the verbal smackdown on one of the characters, and we just love his protective nature. We also got to meet his wife Carla, and we understand we will seem them together next week in 3.05 Flesh and Blood. While we only got Avery in 2 scenes this week, the plot thickens and the story unfolds…we are looking forward to more.
