This week’s episode has left of worried and, dare we say it, frightened for Avery’s own safety. After buying a gun, he tells Carla he’s gotten himself into “a bit of a fix” and is going to make it right. That scene on the phone with her was rife with love and resolve. This week was the winter finale, with a scheduled return date of January 4th, 2023. It will be interesting to see how our Avery cliffhanger situation will resolve. Avery is being paid $1 million to break into Paige’s cryptocurrency account. We don’t know the name of who she stole the $15 million from. We really enjoyed Avery’s storyline this week, and love Ian expressing diverse moods to bring us great scenes. Next week’s eppy is the cliffhanger winter finale…and we see him buying a gun. We’re already nervous!

One of the best, and one of our most favourite Desmond-centric Lost episodes, 3.08, gets a deep dive with behind the scenes interviews and footage. We love Ian’s performance, range, and personal comments about this episode. It’s great to see how the various scenes were shot, and to hear from Damon Lindelof about the creators’ thoughts on the story.
