We don’t know much about Ian’s role as Michael in Jamojaya, which premieres this weekend at the Sundance Film Festival (January 22nd, 2023). We’re not convinced/don’t want to believe that Avery is gone, but he took 2 shots to the chest at close range. We may have to deal with his loss, but we don’t like it. We loved all of Ian’s scenes in this episode, which may prove to be his last. The season 3 finale concludes next week, so we expect to find out the truth.

Jamojaya will have it’s premiere on January 22, 2023 at Sundance Film Festival.

Written by Justin Chon and Maegan Houang and directed by Justin Chon, the film stars Rich Brian and Yayu A.W. Unru

The drama film has been described “as a break up film between a father and son, when a rapper with a rising career hires a U.S. manager and label, taking over from his father who has steered it to date.”

Henry Ian Cusick portrays Michael in the film.
