It’s been an interesting ride, and we enjoyed Ian’s portrayal of this initially fun and devoted step-father growing desperate in the wake of his behavior. Bless you, Avery…we will miss you!

We don’t know much about Ian’s role as Michael in Jamojaya, which premieres this weekend at the Sundance Film Festival (January 22nd, 2023). We’re not convinced/don’t want to believe that Avery is gone, but he took 2 shots to the chest at close range. We may have to deal with his loss, but we don’t like it. We loved all of Ian’s scenes in this episode, which may prove to be his last. The season 3 finale concludes next week, so we expect to find out the truth.
