There was so much Peet this episode, with glimpses of his deep caring for the children peppered with some paranoia and angst. Mostly easy to love and trust, he has some darkness in his memory. We are intrigued with this darling, funny character, and are eager to learn more about him.
Ian’s recent film, Jamojaya, had its worldwide debut last Sunday at The Eccles Center, one of the largest theatres in Park City, Utah. Ian plays Michael, a wealthy and controlling record label owner. Directed by Justin Chon, this film was beautifully shot in Hawaii. CusickGallery moderators Kathy and Mianne attended the premiere, and celebrated the event with Ian and his son, Eli, who served as 2nd Assistant Director on the film. Ian’s son, Lucas, also has a cameo moment. There was extensive press coverage, and we got some exceptional photos of our ever-photogenic namesake.
We only have 3 caps from this episode. Carla arrives at the bar and sees Avery dead and being taken away in a body bag. Beau saves Avery’s reputation by saying he died trying to do the right thing. It’s been an interesting ride, and we enjoyed Ian’s portrayal of this initially fun and devoted step-father growing desperate in the wake of his behavior. Bless you, Avery…we will miss you!
