Have we said how much we like John Swift? He’s rather commanding yet appropriately gentle and guiding. The final scene shows him making arrangements for a new team member. Ian’s fans were hoping it was going to be him, and it remains to be seen if he recurs next season. But the announcement was that LL Cool J will be recurring in his role as Sam Hanna (NCIS: LA), which has thrilled those fans. We have a fantastic clip of John Swift and Jane Tennant in this upcoming Season 2 Finale episode. Also included is a compilation clip of some favourite John Smith looks and lines. There is online suggestion and speculation that the door has been left open for John to return for Season 3, and the fans are very excited about that prospect, indeed!

It was a thrilling night last Monday for Ian’s fans, as we got to meet his newest character, John Swift. John is assigned to assist the NCIS: Hawai’i team with their potentially rogue boss. John’s title is Supervisory Agent, from the Office of Special Projects. He’s an ex-CIA, ex-FBI, counter-intelligence agent. He’s obviously smart, commanding, and seems to be there to help. We really like this guy!
