Ooh, this was a good’n. This eppy takes place at a royal wedding in India, and the sets, costumes and music were just beautiful. It was beyond fun to see Ian as Russ in full dress kilt for the wedding, plaid and all. He was otherwise skirted and handling business, sometimes with a Scots accent dissimilar to Desmond’s – possibly from the Highlands. His moments with Sofia were lovely, heartbreaking, tense, and perhaps redeeming. Watching a drunk Russ lay into Sofia for her deceptions was both delightful and agonizing.
