(KUTV) The story of Utah man who lost half his family in a fatal crash back in 2007 has inspired a movie.
Chris Williams of Salt Lake City lost his pregnant wife, a son and a daughter on a cold dark February night. A 17-year-old drunk driver hit the family on a Friday night.
At the very moment the crash happened a thought came to William’s mind “let it go.” Let It Go was the title of a book he wrote about his forgiveness for the teen driver, and will also be the name of the movie set to hit theaters in 2015.
The directors, who worked on a Mormon message video with Chris Williams, his two surviving sons and the teen who killed half his family, felt there was more of the story to tell. They spent two years on the script and now they are finally in the process of bringing it to the big screen.
The film stars Lost actor Henry Ian Cusick playing the role of Williams.
