From Angie’s stuff #59: Being Desmond – A Desmond Picspam

She made this for a “10 things I love about you” LJ challenge.

Thanks to icequeen3101 for the great collages and really great themes!!!

Desmond and Friends: I wish he'd had more scenes with Juliet, but it really doesn't matter who he shares the screen with.

Being Angry: Usually he's the nice guy next door, but try to kill his wife, and he'll go off like a bomb!

Desmond and Guns: He didn't use them often, but when he did, he knew how to!

Making Funny Faces: They're not intentional, but he's really good at making them XD

Profiles: Desmond looks good from every side, and here's the proof for that.

Being Happy: He's just adorbs when he's happy, LOOK AT HIM!!

Being in Love: Des and Penny belong together. I may have my crazy side-ship involving Penny, but in the end it always comes back to Des/Penny, because they're soulmates after all XD

Being Drunk: Desmond is a very happy drunk, which makes him a fun drunk. I approve of this!!

Being Wet: I think there's no flashback episode of Des where he ISN'T getting wet in some way, and there's a good reason for that.

Nakidness: He rocks the look, what's more to say? :D

    he was hired for just a 3-episode arc, which I assume would be the first few epseidos of season 2, up to the point where he ran away from the hatch. But the response that Damon and Carlton give to the question about how far ahead they had planned Desmond’s story implies that they knew they’d need to use the fail-safe key. This indicates that they knew they’d bring Desmond back at some point otherwise, how would the Losties find out about the fail-safe key? Or were Damon and Carlton lying about having a plan for the whole story, and they are making it all up as they go along (as many critics have suggested personally I doubt this is the case)? Or, did they originally tell Henry Ian Cusick they only needed him for 3 epseidos in order to minimize any giveaways to the storyline? Any thoughts?
