The Top 12 Sexiest Men Of ‘Lost’: Say Goodbye Before ‘The End’

We at Hollywood Crush have been itching at the bit to sink our typing skills in to some sort of “Lost” coverage. Sure, we talk about Ian Somerhalder all the time because he’s in “The Vampire Diares,” but the rest of the game-changing show doesn’t really fall into our demographic.

So thank goodness the grand series finale is this Sunday!! We couldn’t resist getting our very last chance to show the world and our devoted readers that this show has captured our hearts and captivated our minds for a reason. Behold, our homage to this amazing series: a close up look at the Sexiest Men of “Lost”! Meow!

1. HENRY IAN CUSICK AS DESMOND HUME
Without a doubt (and despite my lovely editor, Lindsay Soll’s, disagreement … she’s a Boone girl!) Desmond Hume is hands down the sexiest man to ever walk The Island’s hallowed grounds. It’s hard to think back to a time when Desmond wasn’t a main protagonist on the show (though to be fair, he was introduced back in the first season finale as an antagonist), but boy has he charmed our socks off in his quest to find his one true love, Penny Widmore (Sonya Walger). Now, with his sure-footed, badass crusade to reunite everyone in the sideways flashes, he has cemented our love — and the love of many men and women out there — in a way no other “Lost” character has been able to.

2. IAN SOMERHALDER AS BOONE CARLYLE
What’s funny is that, while Desmond wasn’t really in the first season and still managed to steal our hearts, Boone Carlyle was only in the first season (excusing flashbacks and flash sideways) and is our second sexiest man of “Lost.” That owes a lot to the fact that he was the only 20-something beyond Charlie Pace (we’re getting to him soon!) to crash on Oceanic Flight 815, and Ian is a freakin’ babe. Oh Boone, the day you died was a sad day indeed for “Lost” fans, but we’re sure we’ll see you again in the series finale!

3. JOSH HOLLOWAY AS SAWYER
And then there’s Sawyer. Oh goodness, what a big hunk of love he is. Sure, we loved him a little more in the post-snarky con man, pre-Juliet phase (a girl can dream, but it’s harder to do that if the man she’s dreaming about is in love with another woman!) and we’re still crossing our fingers that it will be Sawyer that Kate picks at the end of the show. And, though “Lost” showrunners Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse have said that “The End” is the end, we’re holding out hope that a Sawyer and Miles buddy cop spin-off TV series is somewhere in the near future.

4. JEREMY DAVIES AS DANIEL FARADAY
Like Desmond, Daniel Faraday is another late-comer to “Lost,” but despite his kind of creepy exterior, we find ourselves inexplicably drawn to his knows-a-lot-more-than-he-seems character. Since it’s kind of hard to put into words, we will explain our affection for this sexy hunk of man by means of photo explanation: viola.

But there are so many more to choose from! Where would we be without Jack Shephard (Matthew Fox), Jin Kwon (Daniel Dae Kim), Sayid Jarrah (Naveen Andrews) and Charlie Pace (Dominic Monaghan)? How would Island mysteries be any fun at all without the pretty faces of Richard Alpert (Nestor Carbonell), Miles Straume (Ken Leung) and Jacob (Mark Pellegrino)? Somehow even Benjamin Linus (Michael Emerson) has become sexy in our eyes, and who would have thought there would ever be a man who made bug eyes attractive?
